Hire Terms

These terms apply to every Team Teepee hire. Your booking confirmation sets out the specifics for your party — dates, package, price, deposit and any special arrangements — and if anything there differs from this page, the booking confirmation applies.

Bookings & deposits

Your date is confirmed once we’ve agreed the package and price in writing and any deposit we’ve asked for has been received. The deposit amount and when the remaining balance is due are set out in your booking confirmation.

Cancellations & date changes

If you need to cancel or move your party, tell us as soon as you can — the earlier we know, the more we can do. We’ll always try to move your booking to another available date first. Whether a deposit can be refunded depends on how much notice you give, and is set out in your booking confirmation.

Collection & return

Team Teepee is a DIY hire: you collect the kit from us in Keyneton at the agreed time and return it at the agreed time, packed the way it arrived. Please return everything on time — another family is often booked right after you. If you’re running late or something has gone wrong, call or message us straight away and we’ll sort it out together.

Care of the equipment

Everything goes out clean — bedding is freshly laundered and equipment is checked between hires. While the kit is with you, it’s in your care: please keep food, drinks and pets away from the teepees and bedding where practical, and don’t smoke around the equipment.

If anything comes back stained, damaged or missing, we may charge the reasonable cost of extra cleaning, repair or replacement. We’ll always talk to you about it first, and we’ll never charge more than it actually costs to put right.

Safety & supervision

Our kits are hired to adults, and children using the setup should be supervised by a responsible adult for the whole party. Set the teepees up indoors on a flat, dry surface, following the step-by-step guide included with every kit.

The fairy lights we supply are battery-operated — please don’t substitute mains-powered lighting, and keep the teepees, bedding and all fabrics well away from heaters, candles and open flames. Some styling pieces are small, so keep them out of reach of babies and toddlers.
