Team Teepee is a small family business run by Jess in Keyneton, Barossa Valley SA. This page explains what we collect through this website and what happens to it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you enquire or book, we collect only what we need to run your party: your name, email and phone number, the party date and suburb, how many kids or teepees you need, your theme choice and anything you tell us in your message. The same applies if you contact us by email, Facebook or Instagram instead of the website form.

How we use it

Your details are used to reply to your enquiry, arrange the booking, collection and return, and send you messages about your booking. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for marketing.

Who else handles it

When you submit the enquiry form, it’s processed by our website host (Netlify) and emailed to our inbox using Resend (resend.com), an email-delivery service, with your email set as the reply-to so we can answer you directly. You’ll also get an automatic email confirming we’ve received your request. Every submission is automatically checked for spam (hidden-field and timing checks, a blocklist and a spam score), and anything that looks like spam is held for JB Digital Barossa to review instead of being passed on to us. A delivery record of each enquiry is kept in JB Digital Barossa’s secure client portal (hosted by Supabase in Sydney, Australia), so if an email doesn’t arrive it can be resent. JB Digital Barossa, who built and look after this website, also receive a copy of each enquiry so they can make sure enquiries are arriving and the form keeps working. These providers handle your details only to deliver the service, never for their own marketing.

Some of these services (Netlify, Resend and Google, below) store or process data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how people use this website, for example which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (city or region level), what device and browser they use, and whether the call, email or enquiry buttons are used. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) in your browser when a page loads. This site doesn’t use a cookie pop-up, so the options below are how you opt out. We’ve switched off Google Signals and advertising features, Google keeps this analytics data for 14 months, and what you type into our forms is never sent to Google. We use these numbers only to improve the site; we don’t run advertising trackers and don’t use analytics to identify you.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on every website with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Children & party photos

Our parties are for kids, so we’re careful here. We only share party photos on our social media with the host parent’s or guardian’s permission, and if you’d ever like a photo taken down, before or after it’s posted, just ask and we’ll remove it.

Enquiry forms and follow-up

When you type your email address or phone number into an enquiry or quote form on this website, we save what you have entered so far (your name, contact details and the details of your enquiry), even if you do not press send. We do this only so that Team Teepee can get in touch once, personally, to help if your enquiry was interrupted. We never send automatic follow-up messages. A short notice under each form explains this. We never save passwords or payment details. If you clear the form, or tap “Clear” under it, what you typed is deleted. If you do send the form, the unsent copy is deleted straight away. Otherwise, saved details are deleted automatically after 90 days. They are stored securely in Australia by our website provider, JB Digital Barossa, and are not sold, shared or used for marketing lists. To see or delete anything we hold about you, or to ask us not to contact you, email teamteepee10@gmail.com and we will action it promptly.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details only as long as we need them to manage your booking and keep basic business records, and we delete them when they’re no longer needed.

Access, correction & complaints

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Just email us. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us and we’ll do our best to put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
